This is the general edition, published for everyone. Figures specific to your accounts — balances, exposure and utilisation — are produced inside the treasury terminal against your own data.

Section 01

Take this away

Everything below is the report. Save it as a PDF to circulate internally, or work through it on the page — the two are the same document.

Want your own numbers?

The terminal produces the same report against your balances, on demand or on a schedule to named recipients.

Section 02

Settlement cut-offs

A payment instructed after the cut-off is processed on the next business day. Cut-offs are stated in your account’s local business hours and are the single most common cause of a payment "being late" when it is in fact on time.

Indicative. Exact times per currency and rail are published in the terminal and can change on market holidays.

Section 03

Liquidity tools

Cash concentration
Balances swept from participating accounts to a header account on agreed rules, so surplus in one entity offsets need in another instead of sitting idle.
Target balancing
Each account is topped up to, or drained down to, a target you set. Useful where an entity must keep a working float.
Notional pooling
Positions are aggregated for interest purposes without physically moving money. Availability depends on the structure of your group.
Intercompany funding
Structured transfers between entities with the reference and documentation attached at the point of movement, so the audit trail is built rather than reconstructed.
Operating headroom
Agreed facility against the group rather than negotiated per entity, reviewed on a set cycle.
warning

Sweeps have consequences

Concentration moves real money between real legal entities. Agree the tax, accounting and intercompany treatment with your advisers before switching a rule on, not after the first sweep runs.

Section 04

Facility utilisationHow much agreed headroom is drawn, and against which limit?Daily
Audit packWho raised, approved and released each payment, and from where?Monthly or on demand

Section 05

Controls assumed by this report

  1. 1Individual credentials for every user, with rights scoped to their role.
  2. 2Separation between raising, approving and releasing a payment above your chosen threshold.
  3. 3Approval required when a beneficiary’s details change, not only when a payment is large.
  4. 4Dual control on changes to limits and user rights.
  5. 5A scheduled review of limits, sweep rules and user list at least annually.

The report is only as good as the controls

Consolidated reporting shows you the position. It does not stop a payment leaving. The control list above is what does.
